Burma Chin Blanket from Northern Myanmar

This is a beautiful traditionally woven blanket from the hills between Tedim and Hakha in Chin State of Myanmar. A very similar piece was displayed June 3rd at the prestigious CFDA fashion show in New York City by one of my customers. (the shorts in the picture are what he made, please note this is a slightly different color scheme as pictured) It is a traditional piece woven by the Chin people. Slightly thicker in weave with intriguing supplemental weft patterning. Would be very durable as a pillow or other furnishing.
